WHEREBY THE PROCEDURE FOR THE CREATION AND PRESENTION OF AWARDS IS PROMULGATED
By Sir Ignatius IV Article 1. Definition of "Order award" “Order award” means either the Legion of God, Distinguished Service Award, Gold Cross, Honorable Conduct Award or Humanitarian Service Citation. Article 2. Grand Chapter as having sole authority to present awardsSubject to the provisions of Article III, Section I, Clause VII of the Charter, solely the Grand Chapter, by a unanimous vote, may present an Order award. Until the Grand Chapter is active, all the executive officials who make up the Acting Grand Chapter can present Order awards.Article 3. Grand Chapter as having sole authority to create/suppress awardsThe Grand Chapter shall have sole authority over the creation and suppression of new and old Order awards respectively. Article 4. Executive awardsThe Grand Master, Grand Commander, Grand Chancellor, Seneschal and Grand Hospitaller shall have authority to create and present Executive awards as they see fit. I don't think the members of the Grand Chapter need to give awards, so I left them out.Article 5. Brotherhood awardsIn accord with Article VI, Section I, Clause II of the Charter, Brotherhoods are free to create and present their own awards in the manner of their choosing. Article 6. No effect on awards presented before promulgationThis Rescript shall have effect on all Order awards hereafter presented, but shall not affect any Gold Cross presented before the date of promulgation of this Rescript. Article 7. CodificationThe Acting Clerk of the Grand Chapter shall codify this Rescript, excluding this Article, as he sees fit.

| NOTE: I wrote this proposition at the request of Sir Brizendine.
I added a poll at the top. This way we can have annonymous voting and no one can be mad at someone else just because that person didn't vote for their proposition. | |
