Distinguished Service Award – Awarded for: The performance of a great act of service or action benefiting the Order but not warranting the honor of the Legion of God

Gold Cross – Awarded for: Especially meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services and achievements

Display Protocol

Ribbons are to be displayed in centered rows of one to four with spaces between each individual ribbon and the first row being, from left to right, rank, position(s) of responsibility (if any), and highest award (if any). Subsequent awards are to be displayed in subsequent rows as per the order of precedence.

It is very easy in this manner to tell that the person in question is an Officer, a member of the Grand Chapter, and has received the Gold Cross at first glance.

It is forbidden to display Order ribbons outside of the Order. It is likewise forbidden to display awards received outside the Order in the Order. The Order does this to encourage humility amongst its members.
